today we bought all the stuff needed for the invitations for your first birthday! this is proof that I did start early, just in case it’s the day of the party and I’m scrambling for decorations

05.20.12 - outdoor picnic / grad party
today we spent our day with family and friends at the riverlands. I told everyone it was only 15 minutes away, but to my surprise it was close to 40 - woops!

05.19.12 - mommy’s big day
Today I finally graduated college. there were plenty of times that I almost gave up, but I wanted to make sure I do whatever I can to provide you with the best life possible. you were born during finals week of last semester, and I had no idea how I would finish school, but your daddy was very supportive.
Education is very important, and I want nothing more than for you to do well in school. I don’t care if you don’t become valedictorian, i just ask that you will try your hardest. daddy and i will put all of your effort into helping you with your homework, science projects, and studying. I’m great with commas, but once you get to geometry, count me out. lol I’ll hire you a tutor if needed :)

in the afternoon you went over to gram’s while mommy went to graduation practice and then spent a few hours with grandma kat at night.

you are in your new wall hanging jumper. you haven’t quite figures out how to jump yet, but you have no problems playing the same songs and sounds over and over and over… haha
